02 Aug CULT FAVE : margot robbie
While we haven’t yet spotted the former Gold Coast hinterland local perusing our fave haunts or visiting us the best hair salon in Nundah, it doesn’t mean that our team of Brisbane hairdressers can’t claim Margot Robbie as one of our own.
From the small screen of Neighbours to front row at the Oscars, Margot Robbie has had a meteoric rise to fame which only continues to climb. Recently named as the face of Chanel, she has literally hit fashion’s ultimate goal. With her classic Queensland beach girl looks and girl next door charisma, Margot Robbie is officially our current style icon.
Here we break down three of her best hair looks;
Is there anything cuter than this look? A little bit coquettish, a little bit sexy, we love how Margot has taken the humble pigtail and turned it into an evening look. The key here is plenty of texture through the hair before pulling into the pigtails and keeping the hair a little loose and undone. A deep side part adds sophistication and makes it a little more flattering for the face.
This is classic Margot- simple beachy waves and her perfect lob cut for ELLE magazine. This look looks effortless, but to recreate at home you’ll need to get to work with a good quality sea salt spray or dry shampoo and work in maximum volume using a hair dryer at the roots. Scrunch lightly to help encourage a little wave and voila.
We love this look as it is so out of the ordinary for your standard red carpet. Rather than a classic updo or tumbling curls which are a dime a dozen on celebs, Margot went for it with this edgy look at the Goodbye Christopher Robin premiere. Capturing an almost masculine feel, the hair was pulled into a deep side part, with one side tucked behind the ear, while the other side was given a subtle yet defined wave to frame the face. The whole look was finished with the daring wet look and some epic make-up.
Love these looks as much as us? Wishing that if only the best hairdresser near me could recreate them? Well we can! Come visit our Nundah salon and see what we Brisbane hairdressers can do.
