GIRL CRUSH: kaia gerber

When your mum is Cindy Crawford, it’s no real surprise to anyone when you head into the world of modelling, but we don’t think anyone could have predicted just how quickly Kaia Gerber’s model star would rise. She was the unofficial, but definitive, face of the recent SS19 fashion month, popping up in countless shows across New York, London, Milan and Paris. Featuring in every top designers’ show, and more often than not either closing or opening, Kaia is a supermodel in the making.

Here at Helmet Hair Co our team of Nundah hair dressers are always inspired to give you the best curls, cuts and styles, so take a look through Kaia’s best hair looks for some salon inspiration;

Miu Miu

How adorable is this fringe? There were a few runwayswhich featured them including Prada, but we love this take on it pairing it with super long locks. This fringe is not for the faint hearted but it is a fun and youthful look for those brave enough to pull it off. Fringes need to be left in that hands of the experts, so pop into Helmet so we can help. Not game? Use a fringe piece like Kaia has here.

One of the most popular hair looks of the season, expect to see baby hairs having a hair moment. Rather than hiding those wispy pieces, multiple designers highlighted them and used them to frame the face. The look is perfect for framing and softening the face without the need for a fringe.

Versace

Glam, glam glam. This Versace look was simple, but the high gloss finish and sharp centre part made it stand out. We also love the clips above the ears which add a little bit of colour and sparkle and make the look unique. Feel free to bring your own accessories into the salon for us to get creative with!

Chanel

The pinnacle of pretty girl hair, this ‘rich beach’ look suited Malibu girl Kaia perfectly. The soft half up, half down look was beach hair but done with more gloss that salt, leaving the look with plenty of movement. It’s ultra wearable and a look we can make look stunning in salon.
