Some of you may be aware that here at the best salon Nundah we are proudly a hair salon that uses the amazing ELEVEN Australia products. While we obviously love them for providing some of best hair care and styling products in the biz, we also love them for their heart of gold and mission to help those less fortunate.

A lifestyle brand for the young and young at heart, ELEVEN Australia is the fresh approach to hair. Starting in 2011 with the now iconic Miracle Hair Treatment, ELEVEN Australia has grown to an award winning 35-product range for everyone. Since its launch, the world has fallen for ELEVEN Australia too, with the brand now available in 25 countries globally including the UK, USA and Canada.

But the ELEVEN Australia Co-Creative Directors and hair industry icons Joey Scandizzo and Andrew O’Toole wanted to do more. Enter the incredible organisation Hagar.

Hagar is an international charity that works to restore the lives of women and children who have survived severe human rights abuse such as modern day slavery, human trafficking and domestic violence. With housing and education centres in Cambodia, Afghanistan and Vietnam, Hagar provides specialist trauma counselling, intensive education programs and career training opportunities in hairdressing for people who might not otherwise have a chance at a successful future.

As part of their work with Hagar, ELEVEN declared every July as Style for Life Month, where throughout the month, $1 from every bottle of ELEVEN Australia Miracle Hair Treatment sold worldwide at participating ELEVEN Australia salons will go to the not-for-profit organisation. Since its inception in Australia in 2013, over $152K has been raised for Hagar through Style for Life, sponsoring countless women through their Economic Empowerment Program.
